Different Language's new Plane to Somewhere EP is out now
The Different Language duo take time out from booking the likes of Shonky, Alex Celler and Laura Jones to play at their increasingly popular party nights of the same name, to treat us to a couple more of their slick minimal techno pieces.
Plane To Somewhere, already garnering a mass of positive comments on Soundcloud, is possibly their best track to date. The most seductive and infectious of grooves is married to a tantalising key refrain and a snaking percussion before a monstrous breakdown takes centre stage. Dark and brilliant.
Train To Nowhere is similar in its approach, but the groove is less evident and a more industrial vibe is evident. Heavy resonating bass, ominous synths and chugging hats, perfect for the darker hours.
The release, which is out now, has already gained support and feedback from top international DJs and artists such as Luciano (Cadenza Records), Richie Hawtin (Minus), Claude Von Stroke (Dirtybird), Click Box (Minus), Orde Meikle (Slam), Benoit Carretier (Tsugi), Madato (Items & Things), X-Press 2, The Badgers (Redukt), M.A.N.D.Y (Get Physical), Terry Francis (Fabric), Franco Bianco (Hypercolour), Crang (VVWI) among many others.
